Technical description:
Stepped tapered made of 70 micron hot galvanised steel, in compliance with UNI EN ISO 1461 (EN 40-5), subsequently surface treated with textured acrylic powder paint (grey). In the upper part there are 4 M8 threaded inserts for fixing the product. The pole consists of two cylindrical pieces and is made of EN10025-S235JR (ex Fe360 UNI7070) steel. The first cylinder has diameter 159 mm, thickness 3 mm and length 3000 mm, whilst the second cylinder has diameter 102 mm, thickness 3 mm and height 4000 mm. The slot for the access cover measures 310x95, at a height of 1000 mm from the ground, suitable for fitting the terminal block with two fuses (code 1863).
The pole allows installation of Italian/French/Spanish/English terminal blocks (with wooden adapter to be ordered separately) and German/Swiss ones (with DIN rail to be ordered separately). Cast aluminium flush access cover. 
Comes with the relative large triangular key (9 mm key side) for access covers (code 0246). Closing is guaranteed by a non-ageing seal which adapts to pole surface irregularities. The access cover is mounted using a fixing plate, spot welded to the inside of the pole. Welded inside the pole there is a metal hook for supporting the terminal block. It consists of a metal rod, with 4 mm diameter, bent twice, with dimensions 40x26 mm.
Installation:
The pole is for burial, with the part below ground measuring 1000 mm. For pole protection, a corrosion-resistant protective sheath can be applied to the area of the pole in contact with the ground. The sheath is not included with the pole accessories. Upon request, a pole base plate can be used (code 1842), consisting of two parts which can be joined together, made of cast aluminium, with diameter 620 mm and height 184 mm.

Power cable access is through the 150x50 mm slot located 350 mm from the base of the metal cylinder. 
The pole has a hole for fixing the grounding lug, designed to house the external grounding cable, located 70 mm from the ground, with 11 mm diameter, secured using M8x17 mm A2 stainless steel screws.
