Alfa Romeo DNA by iGuzzini lights up Milan's museum weekend

iGuzzini will be present, from 3 to 5 March, at the seventh edition of "MuseoCity"; this year's theme is "The light of museums" and for the occasion, the Arese Museum will tell the story of Alfa Romeo through the monumental light installation DNA, in a show of signs and lights signed by iGuzzini. The event is promoted by the City of Milan in cooperation with the MuseoCity association, and aims to enhance museum heritage, knowledge and innovation. DNA will be the protagonist of the evening of Saturday 4 March 'Lights out'. In fact, from normal closing time until midnight, all the lights will be switched off and the DNA's luminous scenery will illuminate the Biscione cars.

Set in the heart of the museum itinerary and 15 metres high, DNA is a transparent cylinder composed of 8192 LED segments, 1500 metres of cables and 150 luminous elements, a special product developed in 2015 by iGuzzini, in collaboration with the FCA Style Centre. The permanent installation crosses all the floors of the Museum and inside it there are inscriptions with the names of the most iconic Alfa Romeo cars.

MuseoCity will turn the city of Milan into one big museum: more than 110 public and private museums will participate, with tours, exhibitions and special events.
