The iconic Le Perroquet floodlight, designed by Renzo Piano for Centre Pompidou in 1998, becomes smaller and takes on a shade of contemporaneity.
 
Le Perroquet was created for a specific purpose: to light up the new Forum of Centre Pompidou. Joking, the architect said: "We need some parrots suspended in the air here. Newfo was designed for Filorail and was inspired by the Ufo floodlight launched in 1977 – an icon of innovation in architectural lighting. The addition of 'squircle' design aspects involved a review of the product's lines, curves and angles to fit into a more contemporary shape, while retaining certain features of the original design.

Casambi, with its wireless technology based on Bluetooth Low Energy, enables a wire-free connection between various devices, simplifying the configuration and management of highly personalised lighting systems that can be controlled from a distance.
